The prophecy has been fufilled
Well.
On Friday June 22nd, 2012...@ciara-miller, @kellycecilia, and our friend Taylor FINALLY went to see Marianas Trench. And it was the most amazing experience I've ever had in my life. Completely surreal. I know that I never come on here anymore, and when I do there really isn't anyone around anymore to look at my sets/talk to me..but I really wanted to make this set. If it weren't for this website, I would've never found out about Marianas Trench and my entire life would be completely different. I owe this fucking band my life-without them, I would be this vapid, shallow, horribly average teenage girl trying to hard to be someone she's not. I remember being constantly on this website making sets about and talking about and obsessing over this band with Ciara and in hindsight if I could choose going on a trip to Europe that summer or staying at home on the computer obsessing over Marianas Trench..I would still choose Marianas Trench. They changed me for the better. They are my fucking saviours. If it weren't for them, I probably would've quit band and I wouldn't be in the music program. My music keeps me going and this band is what made me realize how much I need good music. I just..I owe them and this website a lot. And it's so weird that after 3 years of liking them (and basically leaving the MT fandom) I not only saw them live but I got to meet all 4 members (my picture with Ian is on Ciara's camera which I don't have an adapter for so the pictures aren't on my computer yet....) and they all signed my Masterpiece Theatre CD. I'm just. Wow. After 3-4 years of waiting, it happened.
So...about my concert experience.
We were close enough to the front, not as close as I had liked to be but close enough. There were people already there at 4:30 apparently...we showed up a half hour before the doors opened :/ (I insisted that we show up an hour to an hour and a half early but nobody listened to me...). Anyways. When Marianas Trench came onstage I started crying and didn't stop until they finished playing Ever After. Then they played (in as good of an order as I can): Haven't Had Enough, All to Myself, By Now, Celebrity Status, Shake Tramp, Fallout, Stutter, Beside You, Perfect, Desperate Measures, THEN JOSH FUCKING COVERED PART OF ROUND HERE BY COUNTING CROWS AND I FREAKED OUT AND WAS CRYING AND YELLING AND LIKE THE ONLY PERSON IN THE CROWD WHO KNEW THE SONG OMG, then it transitioned into Good to You, and they finished with Cross My Heart. It was so amazing. The only thing is Ciara got really hot and just claustrophobicish in the crowd so she went to the back of the venue and I was sad because I didn't get to share the whole experience with her. Anyways...they were all as amazing as I thought they would be and Josh stage dove like 4 times and he was so sassy and precious and Mike dfjaskfld and Ian fucking had food poisoning but he still played the show. Then after, I bought another copy of Masterpiece Theatre because it was the only one they had and I really wanted them to sign the CD and a tshirt. Anywhoo...first I met Matt and I was freaking out and he signed my CD and smiled really big when I told him how long I've been a fan. Thenn...we waited by Josh for a while but there was a huge swarm of people so we went over by Ian and Ian was precious but he obviously didn;t feel very good. Then we went by Mike and omg okay
so
he was holding a drink
and a sharpie
and I was standing where his arm ended and it fucking looked like he was trying to hand it off to someone so I was absendmindedly like "I can hold that for you" and he was like "no no that's okay" and then I realized what I did and I cringed and hid behind my CD but when we finally got to him I was like "Omg I'm so embarrased I'm just awkward and my brain legitimately thought you wanted someone to hold that for a second" but he was really cool about it and was just like "no thats fineand then we got our picture and then we went over to Josh and there was so much crowding it was insane but anywhoo so we get over there and it went by so fast I can barely remember it because the lgihting in the venue was shitty so everything felt like a dream sequence but bascially I was like "I cant believe you played Round Here I love that song so much thankyou for playing it" and he was like "Yeah I love that song I wish I wrote it" and I was like "I just got so excited" (and then I demonstrated my reaction/facial expression) "and started crying and yelling the lyrics. I actually started crying when you guys came on stage" and he gave me like a "d'aww" look and patted me on the shoulder omg but he was perf okay. Then I went back over to Matt and got a picture with him and I was like "Sorry I'm all sweaty you guys ravished me" and he was like "lol its fine" but yeah he was perf. And then ummm...........oh yeah Josh wasn't signing autographs at first so everyone could get through with pictures so when the crowd died down and he was signing finally I went over there by him and when he turned to me I said "Ramsay, we meet again!" and he yelled "WE MEET AGAIN" in his sassy voice and flailed and like hit the wall and it was so perf and I was like "Mike was an assh0ole and had to sign over Matt's face" so Josh was like "Then I'm gonna sign over my own face" and I think more words were exchanged but I honestly like dont remember it happened so fast and then fdjafkldsajfdaskj it was perf kay perf.

Now you're just somebody that I used to know.
"You didn't have to cut me off, make out like it never happened, and that we were nothing." -Somebody That I Used To Know / Gotye ft. Kimbra

I am absolutely obsessed with this song. The music video is really cool as well. He sounds like Phil Collins.

I wanted to make a set for this song and when I do that I like to have a theme so I was going through and then I was like "Shit. Ryden." and so yeah I guess that's what this is.

There's a darkness upon me that's flooded in light, and I'm frightened by those who don't see it
Head Full of Doubt, Road Full of Promise / The Avett Brothers

Possibly one of the most beautiful songs ever under Northern Downpour and What A Catch, Donnie and stuff

Can we fast forward to you go down on me?
New Perspective / Panic! at the Disco

This color reminds me of that song for some reason...probably because that's the color of the cover art.

Why am I incapable of making good sets omg.
